So much for a resolution
Woo-hoooo! Remember me? It’s been like a year since I’ve posted so I’m not really expecting any miracles here… but just in case you do…
Santa was very good to me, as always. Everything I received was on my list and anything that wasn’t was a great surprise! I’m now the proud owner of an iPhone, which immediately sucked all the information out of my brain and categorized it in cute little applications, accessible with just a tap of the finger. Although gloves really suck now and today I actually considered chopping off the tip of my glove for my right index finger…
Edit: I can’t believe I forgot to mention that I got a Roku! That tiny little box makes me so happy! I love Netflix and would recommend it to anyone.
I actually got some nice loot in the knitting and crafting department, which is totally awesome. A few really good books, a swift (can I get a hallelujah!), a gift card to Ewe to You, and a new iron for my sewing room. My parents also made both Chad and me our own super big fleecy tie-blankets. Actually they made a bunch for other people too and they were all really cool. It was a very warm, squishy Christmas with blankets, robes, heat packs, pajamas and all kinds of other goodies.
For New Year’s Eve we had a few people over and managed to stay up until 3am. Lots of good times and not many appropriate pictures that I should share. Hmm. On the resolution front… I know people complain about how stupid it is to make resolutions that you’re never going to keep anyway… but what kind of attitude is that? I have a whole list of goals for the year and if I meet them, I’m a better person for it. If not, then you can probably bet it is going to be on my list for next year. Technically I’m not off to a great start though because one of them was to blog regularly… here we are now seven days into the new year and I’m just geting around to my first post! Alas, I picked up some Metamucil on the way home and things are looking up from here…
